Prof. Dr. Wedemeyer Presents D‑SOLVE Research at CiiM Symposium 2026
Within the framework of our EU‑funded D‑SOLVE project, Prof. Dr. Heiner Wedemeyer (MHH), Project Lead of D‑SOLVE, presented the lecture
“Hepatitis D as a Model for Precision Infection Medicine: From Research to Personalized Care”
at the 2nd International Conference on Individualized Infection Medicine (19–21 March 2026) in Hannover, Germany.
The presentation showcased how D‑SOLVE research outcomes support patient stratification, biomarker development, and personalized treatment strategies, advancing precision infection medicine and improved patient care across Europe for Hepatitis D virus (HDV).
As a D‑SOLVE consortium partner, the Centre for Individualised Infection Medicine (CiiM) exemplifies the project’s collaborative approach, bringing together clinical and research expertise to jointly address HDV. The 2nd CiiM Symposium provided a focused platform for interdisciplinary exchange and translational collaboration aligned with the objectives of D‑SOLVE.
