Advancing Towards the Finish Line: The D-SOLVE consortium sets the course for the final project phase
On 14 October 2026, the D-SOLVE consortium convened in Milan for its annual meeting, which was once again held immediately before the Delta Cure Meeting. Bringing together partners from across Europe, the meeting provided an important opportunity to review project progress, align priorities, and coordinate activities for the final phase of the project.
As D-SOLVE enters its concluding stage, discussions focused on the successful completion of the remaining project objectives. The final project period will primarily concentrate on the comprehensive analysis of the extensive clinical and translational datasets generated throughout D-SOLVE, the integration of findings across all work packages, and the preparation of high-impact scientific publications. Consortium members also discussed strategies to maximize the scientific and clinical impact of the project’s results and ensure effective dissemination of key findings.
The close connection between the consortium meeting and the 5th Delta Cure Meeting once again highlighted the strong engagement of D-SOLVE within the international hepatitis research community. D-SOLVE members were prominently represented at this unique event, including conference chairs Prof. Heiner Wedemeyer and Prof. Pietro Lampertico, as well as numerous consortium partners who contributed as speakers, poster presenters, and attendees.
The consortium looks forward to translating the project’s achievements into lasting scientific and clinical impact in the coming months.
